 Click for Larger Image | Oasis Mailbox Locking Post Mailboxes. Items 5100 and 6200 The Oasis Mailbox is a large capacity locking USPS approved mailbox. This security mailbox sets a new standard in mailbox design by providing a large incoming hopper door to accept parcels. The Oasis Mailbox comes in two sizes, as shown in the drawing below. This large locking curbside mailbox is among the very first to be approved by the United States Postmaster General for curbside delivery (USPS Std 7B). Its unique patented hopper style incoming door can accept small to medium sized parcels. It is finished in a durable powder coat available in pearl gray, sand, white, black and bronze. Technical Specifications: * Body: 16 gage (1.5 mm) steel sheet * Doors: 14 gage (2.0 mm) steel sheet * Assembly Hardware: Stainless steel rivets and hinges. Items 5515 and 5517 The Coronado Mailbox can be conveniently mounted to the optional Decorative Post (item 5515), which is available in all four mailbox colors. The post is configured to cantilever the mailbox forward, allowing more clearance beside and under the mailbox. It is designed for in-ground mounting. For a simpler look, the Coronado Mailboxes can also be mounted to the Standard In-ground (5525) or Surface Mount (5526) Post. A Newspaper Holder (item 5517, shown inset) is available for use with the Decorative Post. The insert is a retrofit item and can be installed in a new or previously purchased mailbox. It is constructed of heavy gage galvanized steel powder coated in black and includes a corrosion resistant lock with two keys. The mounting hardware is located securely behind the access door and is not accessible when the door is locked.
